What ingredients are needed to build a loving community?

To build a loving community, I believe we need an ecosystem.

We need people who love each other, care for and balance each other.

People that hold you down, those who are strung when you get too close to the sun and people who will lift you up when you’re down on your luck.

You need souls who’s intentions are good and won’t let you be misunderstood.

It takes young people who guide and shape our futures, as well as old people to reminisce the past. Sisters and brothers who’ll inspire their siblings like no other. Uncles and Aunties, who remind you who you are in spite of your fears.

You need a home, where you all choose to gather, a place in the world where nothing else matters.

You need a village.
